4th Edition of DLF Emporio Design Awards received more than 300 entries and witnessed overwhelming design creativity from all over the country as well as internationally. Theme this year was to create Black and White Vintage products for today’s DLF Emporio shopper. Designers were seen taking inspiration from fashion legends like Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe or classics of 1900’s like The Great Gatsby in their beautiful creation.
India's ace designer Gaurav Gupta renowned for creating contemporary pieces came on board to judge each entry across various parameters and choose the Top 26 finalists of the competition. While going through the entries together, Neha Lidder, Head Marketing DLF Emporio commented “This year we so far received best entries for the competition and it was extremely difficult to choose the finalists. Every year the entries keep getting better and better and we get to witness great talent from across the country and abroad”.
On this occasion, Gaurav Gupta said “DLF Emporio Design Awards is a great initiative taken for young aspiring designers. There were lot of creative and unique entries to choose from for the final jury round. This is the only platform where it goes directly from students to the best retail space in the country”.
The grand finale will be held in Feb 2016 amongst other stalwarts of Indian fashion industry wherein the finalists will give life to their short-listed designs. |
