15th January 2017, New Delhi: Textile designer Tanira Sethi launched a range of pure woven, limited edition hand painted and the first ever fine cashmere lace saree, under her label ‘Taani’ by Tanira Sethi, at the Patine store in DLF Emporio, New Delhi.

The ‘Taani’ by Tanira Sethi collection is the world’s First ever Cashmere Lace saree incorporating fine cashmere Leaver’s lace fabric conceptualized by Ezma Fine Cashmere and woven by Beauvillian Davoine France. The palette ranges from soothing indigo blues, pleasing charcoals, muddy browns, ecru, with accents of reds and maroons used as effective highlighters. The collection uses 100 per cent woven cashmere wool, developed in various weaving centers across India. The entire process from planning stage to final production took up an entire year, in view of the delicateness of the cashmere wool yarn.
