European luxe brand Villeroy & Boch hosted a Signature Table Setting on Wednesday, 14th September 2016. The event was held at the brand's flagship store in DLF Emporio and was attended by the likes of Delhi's elite designers, stylists and wedding planners, among many others. Experts Punam Kalra, Alina Vadera and Punit Jasuja shared tips and insights, while creating stunning decor.
Working with Villeroy & Boch's exclusive dinnerware collections - Audun Ferme, Anmut Platinum and Amazonia - they all brought out their own distinctive styles. They took the patrons through a step-by-step guide on how to create a gorgeous setting with the correct placement of flatware, chargers, dinner plates, napkins, cups, saucers and glasses.
Punit Jasuja played with the colours of the Amazonia collection. He used the classic white pieces as the base hue and added splashes of pink and green with flowers and lighting to add colour. Alina Vadera utilised neutral shades with striped grey and white mats from the Anmut Platinum collection. This was kept on a marble Satvario slab with terrariums and tealights. She went for a more natural look with a contemporary appeal. On the other hand, Punam Kalra used the Audun Ferme collection, creating a contrasting and vibrant look with a black and gold theme. She too added a touch of nature by pairing twigs and branches with the French countryside inspired range.
